Hi Peter,

I doubt that it's becoming weaker. In order to check for this, I occasionally do
perform matches between the current and older versions. It seems, the playing
level is still moderately increasing.  Obviously, some of the other amateurs are
progressing faster. So, Comet may probably look like loosing a bit of playing
strength.

BTW, don't focus too much on positions BS, BT or whatever.

I guess, you are talking about the weights in the book ?
I try to adjust the weights in a way that promising lines will be played more
often. But I don't want to exclude rare and risky lines completely. I think
playing strength (in terms of ELO) ist not the one and only criterion to look on
chess progs ?
