This is only hear say, I believe that a co-worker told me that Windows 2000
professional will only run on an Athlon without any problems. He tried to
install Windows 2000 on an AMD-K6-II, and he had problems. I did not ask him
what kind of problems he was having. It is quite possible that Windows 2000
does not run cleanly on an AMD-K6 processor. Hope this helps.
