Yes... it did. The leading number 1 was Fritz 5.32 which is now 78 points behing
Fritz 6a on the 450 Machines. And there is no way of predicting Chessmaster
8000's winning chances without knowing the strength of the new engine. I don't
know where you got 45% from, because the engine hasn't been released yet. It may
have improved a lot less than 80 rating points, or maybe even more. There's no
way of knowing without sufficient testing.
