Chessmaster6000 cannot see the mate but has no problem to finish the first
iteration in less than 1 second.

After 1.g8Q+ Kxg8 2.e8Q+ Kh7 3.Qe4+ Kg7 it can see that Be5+ is mate in 9.

analysis with chessmaster showed that other lines are not better for white.
for example:
3...Rf5 4.Rh3+(#8)
2...Kg7 3.Be5+(#9)
2...Qxe8 3.Qxe8+(#8)
