Mostly because I had a similar problem when I first had it play ICC's wild 8 which starts with [D] rnbqkbnr/8/8/pppppppp/PPPPPPPP/8/8/RNBQKBNR w - - 0 1 I made some adjustments to stop the qsearch from going crazy. Still, it's nice to know that out of all the countless possible legal chess positions, there exists at least one which my program handles better than a program like Fritz6. :) -paul
