Hi Pals: What maybe you both ignore or miss when giving ideas to make of pro. chess software something at the reach of hands in place like that is the simple fact that, to be capable of putting a product in the shell of, say, compu-whatever the name of the chain store, you must accept hard economic sacrifices that probably cannot be done by Ed or any other pro chess software producer. a) You must accept the supermarket to get a juicy slice of the action, say, 20 or more per cent of the value b) you must package the thing in an tractive box like that that grabed your eyes and that means more money than you imagine. You must pay a designer, an artist, a guy to write the ad, the booklet, you must pay the production of the carbox, etc. All that is susbtantial money. c) Yoy must pay the trasportation of the thing to the shells of the chain store, and that is good money. d) you must ensure some volume of delivery and that's money And so and so. If not, are you going to believe these smart guys had ever dropped the oportunity? Cheers Fernando
