I doubt that a license agreement can inflict censorship on information someone wants to publish. Freedom of information should be a too high value to be legally restricted by a chess software license. I think there's a limit to what can become effective from a software license, and in this case, a basic value is attacked. It's a different thing, if a company can demand a rectification (which is ok of course, if a wrong information would have been given), or if someone wants to restrict what can be published, beforehand. But I'm afraid we won't finally know, because lawyers and courts have more important things to handle (?). Anyway, my opinion is that this company should remove that paragraph from their licenses, and declare in public that this part shall be invalid for those already sold. One crying in the wilderness?
