... even if it wasn't even written entirely in English, I should add. :)

I remember the time when I started beta-testing the 11.x series of Chess Tiger;
it was exactly as you stated, simple DOS text output (like DOS Crafty), and
above all that, most of the text was French, the pieces had French abbreviations
(R = 'roi' for King which I always confused with "R"ook etc.). Still I couldn't
take my hands off it since it definitely was the strongest program at that time.

If Hsu ever brings out "DB on a chip", I'd even learn Chinese to operate it if
necessary. :))))))
