Hey Jim,

Exactly my point. The Swiss system is good for human contests, because the
players normally perform regularly throughout the tournament. And as you say,
I've seen enough comp-comp games to agree, the possibility of unexpected results
is quite big. It's interesting who's going to win in the end, but by no means
undisputed glory.
