Yes, I have the US CM 5500, and it states on the box: "Chessmaster 5500 now supports the SmartBoard rom TASC. Take advantage of the power of the Chessmaster while keeping the look, feel, and visual impact of a real (analog) chess board!" The manual also states: "Chessmaster 5500 supports use of the TASC SmartBoard. For more information, see Use SmartBoard in this manual." etc. You can also go to www.tasc.nl on the web, or of course to www.chessmaster.com for more info. -Mac Moss P.S. Or, much cheaper, you could also get the same look and feel by buying into the Karpov Grandmaster ($200), which I bought and am enjoying greatly.
