Here is what I did in 1998 when I went to Paris to participate to the French
Championship: I bought a second hand B&W monitor in a shop.

I assume you can find stores specialized in second hand hardware in London (at
least we have such in every city in France).

Buy the cheapest monitor you can find, then throw it away when the championship
is over. I'm sure you can find one for less than 40 euros.

It would be sad to see Diep missing because of such a small technical problem.
