I hope you realize that the alexandra palace is in a very touristic city,
probably first mile no computerstore near it, and then you need to carry
it uphill for over a mile.

I already carry a dual 800 machine, from which i first get out 1 cpu,
or run taskmanager all the time (either of both). I ordered short
before the MSO world computer chess a dual 800, there was already
a lot of discussion about allowance of a bit slower dual compared to
the fast 1.15Ghz K7's, as right now money rules.
6 days after i ordered it, i received the
rules for the WMCC. Bummer, but not the biggest deal, i'm sure that
hardware nowadays is not the most important factor anymore, but missing
a quite crucial part is.
