I do not understand your definition of their engine. It is possible to have some definitions: 1)Every program that can be used as an engine for Fritz,Junior,Hiarcs or Nimzo is a chessbase engine. By this definition Crafty is also a chessbase engine. 2)Every program that chessbase sells is a chessbase engine. By this definition all the engines in the young talent are chessbase engines but Crafty and the engines that are free for download like Comet or Faile are not chessbase engines. 3)Every program that Chessbase pays for the programmer to do it is a chessbase engine. I think that programs in the young talent are chessbase engines by this definition and that 2 is practically the same as 3 but I am not sure. 4)Every program that is not a free program in the winboard version and chessbase sells is a chessbase program. I asked for a clear definition what do you mean when you say a chessbase program and did not get a clear reply. I do not understand what do you mean by chessbase never demanded SOS to be their engine. I do not understand why do you think that they demanded Junior and Nimzo to be their engines and did not demanded Sos to be their engine. Uri
