I go to paris by train. Then i continue my travel together with Franck Zibi
to London.

Despite the fact that Netherlands is just 100 KM away from coast of the
island england, travelling by boat is at least $380. Then you land in
Dover or something and need to travel by hours on the LEFT (i'm not used
to driving on the left) to the hotel. That's all real tough to do.
I already consider myself a kamikaze in the traffic.

So this is not a great option. Apart from that the traintrip has been
booked already as far as i know!

I guess without counting the hardware, food and without drinks
added that this all costs me about 1000US$.

The funny thing is perhaps that as secretary of one of the bigger chessclubs
in this country is am used to organize tournaments, and those usually
hardly have entry fee.

My entry fee is 250US dollar for just 9 games!

renting tournament rooms in the middle of one of the bigger cities is not
cheap, but in Utrecht we can hire for about 1000US$ a hall big enough to
fit 16 participants with a computer.

With some luck you can even easily fit them in an university,
as they won't miss that small room for a few days anyway. Average tournament
here has like 200 people joining.
