I tried ColChess on these.  First two were a doddle;

Position 1;

Ng4, Mate in 9 ply, 2.76 seconds

Correct move, but sees a simpler (longer) more forced mate.

Position 2;

Bxa7, Mate in 9 ply, 4.91 seconds (again sees a more forced, but longer mate)

Position 3;

Found this one a lot harder.

Qa7+, Mate in 15 ply, 226 seconds  :((
Got the PV right this time, though.

I guess I need to work a bit on the selective search extensions.

(BTW, P3-450, ColChess 7.0)
