Interesting choice.  Crafty picks h3 and has a draw evaluation.

It is interesting because Kd8 seems to be the better move.  We should give Fritz
credit for a very good and creative choice.

After Kd8, the "obvious" move Rd2+ leads to disaster.  White is left with Bd5
and a small, negative eval.  It's probably still going to end up a draw, but the
choice of Kd8 is an excellent one.

A beautiful piece of chess by Fritz, and I must admit there is zero chance that
I [personally] would have played Kd8 in a game.  Here is the position and the
evaluation (for white -- reverse sign for black) after Kd8:
