Well, just to let everybody know: I am calling my engine "chezzz". It's a winboard engine, that performs fairly well, given the effort I've put into it, I think. It plays better than GNUCHESS and a little bit poorer than Der Bringer. And I haven't even begin to optimize it yet, so there's plenty to do. It even beats Crafty from time to time. I started making this engine in 97. I used some of my sparetime for 6 months working on it. Then I did nothing for 2 years, and then a year ago I started working on it again, and have been working on it off and on since (in my spare time).
