Qa7+ black has only one reply 1...Bxa7 which causes this line to be searched to depth 9. In the mating line there are still 6 black's forced moves, so all in all that line is searched to depth 15 while usual lines are searched to depth 8. Was this explanation better? BTW: Nero is still very unfinished program. I develope it very slowly. Jari
