I let my guard done more as I grow older. Winning is not the important thing since my killer instinct is waning as it is in Fernando Villegas. I like to compliment the opponent on his/her combinatorial ability. I like to congratulate him/her on job promotions and births. I am not at WCN to kill. It is used by me as a form of ICQ program that allows small talk like HAM operators but with emphasis on casual chess play. When I play a machine there is no rating change and the opponent never gets upset. Furthermore, the computers rarely make any unsound sacrifices and you must avoid tactical complications with them. With humans, it is easier to draw out a game for 50 moves instead of being crushed by Junior 6 after 30 moves. Tim Frohlick >On August 18, 2000 at 03:58:52, Timothy J.
