Subject: Annotation Award

Author: ICCA

Date: 05:34:31 12/01/97

The ICCA gives an annual best-annotation award for the program
which provides the best annotations to a chess game. Each program
is given the same game (or small suite of games) to annotate.
The program outputs are judged by an independent panel.

The closing date for programs to enter for the 1997 award
has been extended to 15 January 1998, to avoid the Xmas postal
delays and a postal strike in Canada. To enter, the programmer
has to send a diskette containing an executable copy of the program
to:
Tony Marsland, Computing Science Department, University of
Alberta, Edmonton, Canada T6G 2H1
or to:
David Levy, 80 Constantine Road, London NW3 2LP.
