I really don't know if point n°2 is always possible. But with an even number of rounds, I know that you cannot always play exactly half of the games with white and the other half with black. It is a good reason not to play 6, 8 or an even number of rounds (especially with human french players :-) because the guy who had 4 times black and 2 times white wants to kill the arbiter at the end of the tournament :-) Best regards, Sylvain
