Subject: Pairings round 6 : swiss "perfect" makes very strange pairings

Author: Sylvain Renard

Round 6:

           Junior (3,5) - Nimzo (3,5)
           XiniX (1) - Shredder (3,5) !!!
           Fritz (3,5) - Pacque Expert (0) !!!!
           SOS (3) - Rebel (3)
           Chess Tiger (3)- Crafty (2,5)
           ZChess (3) - Insomniac (2)
           Diep (1,5) - Francesca (2)

You may think it is not important, but don't forget that the tie-break
is the sum of opponent's points. So giving Fritz an opponent who will
score 0 point in this tournament is not necessarily a gift for him!

2,5 points and 3,5 points of difference at round 6 at tables 2 and 3
is _not_ normal at all!!!

The normal pairings should be :
Junior (3,5) - Nimzo (3,5)
ZChess (3) - Shredder (3,5)
Fritz (3,5) - SOS (3)
Chess Tiger (3) - Rebel (3)
Crafty (2,5) - Insomniac (2)
Pacque Expert(0)- Francesca (2)
Diep (1,5) - Xinix (1)

Much more balanced and interesting, isn'it?
