HiTech is already parallelized, although in a way different from the
rest of the "parallel searchers."  The move generator has 64 chips, one
for each square, and generates moves in parallel.  The evaluator has a
set of "feature recognizer" boards that do evaluation in parallel.

To do a true parallel search would be expensive because the
special-purpose
hardware would have to be duplicated, which would be neither easy nor
cheap...
