This is not the reason.

My Fritz6light with no tablebases and my Junior5.9(no tablebases) see 0.00
because they have more knowledge.

Crafty17.11 also evaluates the position as close to draw.

I suggest you try old versions of crafty like crafty16.6 and I guess you will
see that tablebases do not help to avoid the -2 evaluations.
