I wasn't commenting on Shredder's abilities, rather I was wondering what may
explain the trouble it has gotten itself into and extricated itself out of.
Hence, the "?" at the end of items. I am a Shredder fan and just thought it
would have done a bit better. Not that being tied for 1st place is a bad thing.

Maybe the opening book has something to do with it also.

The "luck" part was part of the original post and I agree with you that Shredder
is not where it is because of "luck".
