I am not sure as far as why this is so in the evaluation but i have noticed that computers have a tough time against the Caro. The reason i believe this is so is because 1. Pawn structure and 2. Planning or Schemes It isn't always about calcing variations it is more about ideas. I think given time and depth of search the computers should be able to find the moves but who knows. finger MR-LEE on icc look in my library to see my draw against weakcomp which is rated 600+ points above me. also awhile back i posted a game against Hiarcs set to 2099.
