Using a 1ghz machine versus a 800mhz machine is worth about 16 rating points.
More significant is the fact that the machines leading the tourney are
commercial programs that are expected to be the strongest anyway. It would take
hundreds of games played for a 16 rating point advantage to manifest itself with
any kind of reliability.
