Look, the following programs run/ran without any problem on my machine:

CA2.0
CSTal (any version you like)
CM5000
Colossus X
Fritz5
Genius5 (dos or win)
Goliath
Hiarcs6
Mchess6
Nimzo 3.5
PowerChess
Rebel9
Shredder2 (beta)
Stobor
Virtual2 (beta)
Wchess

and maybe a dozen of others I am to lazy to list above.
The only program that is NOT running accurately is Crafty (whatever
version) under Winboard 3.6.2.
When I go into analysis mode, sometimes the message appears: crafty
9.soandso needed, and if 14.2 appears, almost anything is frozen,
sometimes crafty seems to get power, sometimes not.
And winboard is a WIN95 program.
So don't tell me DOS is shit.
I don't have any problems to get ANY dos program running under Win95 in
DOS-mode ! Nor under Dos 6.22 ! And all programs run/ran on k6/200.
I don't know what you do with your computer !

??? Never had this problem. Sorry. All my friends (sometimes I have to
make their machines WORK because the experiment too much) have after my
visit a working machine. Of course if you install this and that, and get
a cross-linked HD due to smartdrive-crashes, you will come into trouble.
