I don't care about whose fault it is, video card manufacturers, dubious VESA standards or programs that adhere to VESA. And this is Fernando's point, if I am not mistaken. I get a program and I want to test it and to use it. As simple as that. None (NONE) of my Windows programs give me this kind of compatibility problems. Some are full of bugs, for example last year Power Chess was crashing every other minute. And this may be expected from badly written programs. But we are talking about something else: the user-friendliness (lack of) of DOS programs. Enrique
