SOS was considered amateur.
But the definition of "professional" was :

"Professional": A program whose name is the same as or derived from a commercial
product.

(see http://www.dcs.qmw.ac.uk/~olympiad/rules.htm)

As SOS is one of the programs of the CD Young Talents,
which is a commercial product, I really don't understand
how he could be "amateur" in this tournament!
I am not saying that he had to be considered as a professional,
but I think that when organizers make rules, they should
apply them !

Or did I miss something???

If I was the programmer of Insomniac, I would make an
official protest!

  Best regards,
   Sylvain
