It did help. Thanks a lot. With the "s" switch the mouse is not erasing
the screen anymore.

But... now CST is crashing so badly that I have to cold reset the
computer. So, next step in this Sherlock Holmes process. Meanwhile, I
fully sympathize with Fernando's frustration.
