I am saying it's dead, obsolete, kaput. For the same reason that when I use my car I don't want to tinker with the carburetor, when I use a program I don't want to reset the computer in special modes, load a tsr, etc. Instead, I want to run the program without problems and with the advantages of a graphic environment and multitasking, poor in W95 but nonexistant in DOS. >I don't have any problems to get ANY dos program running under Win95 in >DOS-mode ! No smartdrive, nothing special, same configuration that allows all other programs to work just fine. Then, for special DOS chess programs, I start DOS 7.0 with Shift+F5, nothing at all loaded, at times run a cripled tsr and the program still crashes. Enrique
