I also believe that the method which Christopher Theron mention is the most
effective, by playing both colors against each opponent not only you save time,
but it is a more effective way of getting a more reliable tournament result.

PS: Congrats Christopher Theron for your program's excellent result in the WMCC.
I hope that you are considering to add tablebases on your next version of Chess
Tiger 13.
