Kryotech was interested in this at a time. Tiger and Rebel were running on
600MHz Kryotech computers (the K6-III was not able to run at that speed at that
time, but with the cooling system on the Kryotech computer it was possible).
I guess that Transmeta could be a possible candidate for processor sponsoring.
I think of:
* Intel (P-III, P-IV)
* AMD (Athlon, Duron)
* Kryotech (cooled AMD processors)
* Transmeta (Crusoe)
* IBM (PowerPC)
* MIPS (various processors)
However if you ask them, maybe the answer will be: we sponsor the event if all
the participants are using our microprocessors. Some competitors are, again,
coing to complain.
But it's worth a try...
