Actually it didn't.  It was just searching book lines, but the only possible
moves it could play after a search were moves in the book.  I had not coached
Graham on this very well, and as a result, we had it mis-configured.  It
normally works just fine as it did in Jakarta...  but here it was not set up
right (I sent the setup file so it is clearly my doing).  If a move in the book
was marked with a !, which move 1 was, then it would play it with no searching.
But once there were no ! moves, it built the ply-1 move list with only the
book moves in it, and then did a normal search...

If we had had time to play some games (as Jason and I did before Paris) this
would have been fixed in the .craftyrc file so that it would have worked just
fine.  It would likely have still followed that line as the CAP scores were
sucking it right down the line even though it was bad...
