I checked out the scenario you described by email (switch to large (F2)
screen, and then import a database. It worked for me, but that's
probably not very helpful.

Maybe one of four things:

1. the IMPORT feature is a game import. It was written to try and be
clever; it can load several other saved game formats, I forget which,
but most of them, I think; and, of course, it can load straight PGN. But
it is NOT a multiple game importer, it won't grab loads of consecutive
PGN game data streams, and bung them in a database. Possibly if you were
trying to load masses of stuff at once, there could have been a memory
problem ?

2. Just an out of memory problem, anyway ?

3. Some corruption elsewhere from incorrect or strange setup, that just
happened to manifets itself here ?

4. If you were using the Paris download, there is a crash bug that
manifests very rarely, maybe once in four autoplayer games at most ... ?
