gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `/usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-cygwin/2. * 95.2/cpp.exe': Permission denied ! make: *** [backend.o] Error 1 I get this error message under Win98 when trying to compile winboard. I know that it isn't the winboard sources being used, and I installed the latest cygwin about a week ago. "set path=c:\cygwin\bin" has been added to my autoexec.bat Is there something else I'm missing? I tried compiling with Borland bcc55 and had errors there too. Regards, Andrew Tanner
