It is too easy to do it like you do. I only gave to people my opinion on the opening book that I am making and never talked about you. You are changing things in a way that to put me in a bad picture, that's why I reacted that way. If you keep things in a correct discussion way I'll do the same. Anyway here is my judgment of the London games: #1 we got out of book with some advantage. The program could have won the endgame and it did. #2 poor opening by the opponent and if was easy for the program to win. #3 we reached a draw position hoping for a different line by black and we could not win. #4 unfortunately I was not in London and could get news in time, so I could not inform Stefan not to play 1...e5, the line was not tested enough do to a lack of time and Rebel played better, so the program could only draw, like it did. #5 we improved the opening line with white, but even if out of book we had a little advantage the program did not know what to do. At this point it could only get a draw which it did. #6 I asked Stefan to play the Sicilian, but after changing the opponent he decided to play 1...e5 and we got a strong move by white at move 19th. I am checking this line now to see if we can kill it. The program played well considering the difficult positions and got a draw. #7 We showed our new idea 12. g4 which has a 100% winning score and it did the same there also. This because the program knows what to do and play these positons quite well. #8 We finally played the sicilian defence and the program understood well what to do and many people told me that this was probably the best game in London. It is just a matter of opinions of course. #9 We were ready to play 3. f3 which is a move I like against the Karokann because I believe brings to position suitable to our program. Maybe the evaluation is not always positive, but at the end we got nearly 100% score. So this is not a crazy line and GM Adams play it too. So where do you see 5 games where we got out of book in bad positions? They are 2 instead of 5!!! A strong player like you should have know it. Anyway I ask you to excuse me if I have offended you. This was not my intention, but I did not forget the unfair accuses your team made against me 5 years ago, so pls. be careful to avoid missunderstanding. I have nothing against you. Sandro Necchi
