I think that the list should not include old programs and it should include only Fritz without version number Crafty without version number and the same for other programs when you always use versions that are less than one year old for testing(If there is no upgrade for fritz in 1 year you stop to use it) The reason for my suggestion is that I believe that it is possible to do a killer book against the old programs by testing at home against them and programs can get 100% against old programs only by adding book lines(It is not going to change nothing against the new programs that are going to play different moves but it is going to help programs to get 50-100 elo improvement in the ssdf list). Nobody did it in the past but it is better to prevent problems before they happen and not after they happen. Uri
