>You want unlimited compatibility, expandibility, cheap prices **AND** >reliability. I don't see much hope on that road ... > >Moritz Give me my ATARI ST back ! Give me Mephisto back. Give me Fidelity back. Give me back my Super-Conny ! Please David Levy: make me a new dedicated chess-computer with an obscure program playing different. The old days have gone. And nothing fills the black hole. I don't want a mass-market chess-computer that plays as strong as my toaster with a Frans-Morsch engine I have a dozent-times on my PC. I want something new, something strange and strong. Do you remember the moment you switched on the BORIS chess-computer. Do you remember the day Mark V said: forced move / erzwungener Zug ? Do you remember the binary digits that showed Superconny's search-depth ? Or the hex-evaluation of Mephisto 2 (e.g. 7A5F) or the wooden-board of Fidlity Avantgarde ? Ah - it's late. I will go sleep now and dream to have a SPHINX 68000 with infinite-computing-level (it had only limited levels, not an infinite mode)... or the come back of Martin Bryant with a Colossus XX !
