I don't own Shredder 4 but has your software easily overtaken Richard Lang's tactical Genius programs? 2a. How many bytes is the main program? 2b. If I save a position, will it be 159 bytes? I am interested in brevity. 3. Should your program be 2600 SSDF rated like Fritz 6 and Junior 6 at 450 MHZ on the computer chess rating list on www.icdchess.com? My opinion about chess computers is that the hardware (not the software) is lagging upon beating Kasparov or the next twenty first century champion. Jonathan
