Only on Jury duty for 2 days. Never got selected for a jury, but had one close
call (the prosecutor and defense attorney were both fine with me, but the
defendant went into a panicky lather and started chatting really excitedly with
his attorney, so I got left off of that jury.).

I got paid TWENTY DOLLARS FOR JURY DUTY!!!

That's right! Ten dollars per day. No wonder so many people are clamoring to
do it. We also got to watch a movie about the judicial process. Did you know
that juries *NEVER* make the wrong decision? At least that's what one judge
said.

It's early, and the pairings have been rather uneven so far. But who's Yace
going to climb over? I think "it's a tough crowd" pretty well sums it up all
right.

I think InmiChess will do even better. I'm not surprised by ExChess at all.
I'm using the VC++ 6.0 build, which is a lot stronger than the one on Dan
Homan's site for the machines I am using anyway. I suspect that most of the
games you see are from that build or a GCC Linux build.

UNIX programs are a breeze to port to Winboard (and if they are Xboard programs,
it is often a 30 minute job or less). From what I have seen, Mac programs will
be a cuss to port.

Any new programs will have to wait until the next iteration. Probably two
months off at least.
