I still have the Sargon II audio tape for TRS-80 at home. This program,
together with Chess Challenger 10, is the very begining of my passion
for chess computers/programs, in 1979/1980. I keep it with great
caution. Memories...
I downloaded a TRS-80 emulator some weeks ago. This machine was my very
first computer, the one on which I wrote my first chess program in 1982.
I planned to run Sargon II again on my PC just to crush it with Chess
Tiger (a very old revenge I have to take). But, gasp, I need the TRS-80
16Kb ROM code, which is not shipped with the emulator.
Has anybody here an idea where I could get this ROM code?
Please, I desperately need to take my revenge and "tear into pieces" (in
Kasparov's words) that old Sargon. I've been waiting for 17 years!
If I can get Sargon up and running, I would be pleased to be its
operator for the "old stuff tournament".
