 Hello,
you are right. But it is a detail amongst many other errors of pairings
in this tournament.
Rounds 1-4, nothing to say, it was OK.
Roud 5 : beginning of mistakes : the SOS and ZChess should have played
together (3 programs with 2 points Crafty, SOS and ZChess and all 3 had
opponents with other number of points).
 As they _never_ played together in this tournament, this error
may affect the final results (the "amateur" (?) title of SOS for instance).
Round 6 : the pairings done by hand by the director has a vague relationship
with FIDE rules :-) (but it was better than the pairing done by the software
swiss"perfect")
Etc.
