I think that Nimzo should have won the game after the following position:

[D]1r4k1/6p1/p2R3p/B1p5/Pp6/7P/5PP1/6K1 w - - 0 34

Instead of 34.Rxc6 perhaps 34.Kf1 should have won for white.For example
34.Kf1 b3 35.Rd1 b2 36.Rb1 Rb3 37.Ke2 c4 38.Kd2 and the pawns are stop.
