Subject: Chessbase should release a London version of Fritz !

Previously there has been version of the World Computer champion program
released such as in the case of Junior. At the place where I work there are 5
friends of mine who are willing to buy the current version of the WMCC Champion
Shredder, but I told them that there is no indication of Stefen releasing this
version yet until he and Sandro Necchi squeeze at least another 15 rating points
from the current London version. Then the dicussion was prolonged a little,
until we all agreed that just to get another 15 or + rating points from the
current champion and having to wait probably another two or three months is not
worth it. Then we stood there, discussing about the differences between number 1
and 2, in this case Shredder and Fritz by just 1/2 of a point, and at that point
we were discussing the options such as chessbase and winboard compatibility
which Fritz offers and shredder does not offer it yet. Then I asked my friends
if Frank decides to release the London version in less then three weeks, would
you buy it now or wait until the final version of Fritz 7 which probably will
only gain 15 more rating points at the most? Surprinsingly they all answered we
will buy it right now instead of waiting a couple of months. What would you all
do , wait or buy it now, if frank release fritz's London version.?

Pichard.
