We aren't communicating.  The first thing I ask is "what is the least amount
of time I should use for any one move?"  Answer is time remaining / moves
remaining.  I then add to this in various ways, depending on whether I am ahead
on the clock, behind on the clock, etc.  That 2 minute value should never show
up if things work correctly (assuming the time was set normally, it is in
tournament mode, and I didn't screw something up badly).
