I guess it would depend on how one is currently using the program.  Programmers
and analysts would probably be interested in daily updates to existing programs
but those who purchase the programs for the primary purpose of playing it
(entertainment) would probably be willing to wait a little longer before
purchasing an update.  They might be willing to even skip a version update
because the incremental increase in playing strength and other amenities is
rarely worth it.
