As it seems to be commonly known, I was directly involved with this product, by
means of being a member of the Beta team, part time chess advoisory and the
responsible book creator for the commerical release Vs. 4, so a member of the
inner staff, to name it this way. All this didn' track the product into deaf and
blindness, instead it got quite some positive comments, even from inside SSDF -
concerning the book as my part of the job - but this....was.
Therfore I surelly see myself entitled to give a comment as anybody else on
what's gong on right here at the moment. If I remember last year's work and the
vibes within the existing crew at that time last year I simply can't believe all
this I'm seeing right now ! Makes me ask ( myself ) some questions, now, as
allready friendly minded end users seem to notice, what's going on.
Are the makers or participants of this unholy thread aware, what kind of
presentation they give to the public ?
Could it be so, that some folks simply can't get along with success - instead of
turnin' it into positive vibes ?
Is it possible, that some folks seem to have the desperate urge to be known as
w/w reputated overrall experts ?
( Who had which Beta and if so, why after all ? ) This is SO shabby......
Good Lord ! I didn't continue my support due to private reasons, but I sure do
pity the product down to the bone for this sort of presentation, which, BTW,
isn't the only kind goin' on at present w/w.
Sure - any prog is just a summarisation of maybe 200.000 binary code lines, not
less, not more - but we all, including myself, transform some kind of virtual
personality into them, And because of this I am shocked, seein' this weird
discussion by some - not all - of the participants here and elsewhere.
May I bring back in mind : the discussion is held about the currently reigning
and defending, all in all 4 time world champion ( sounds like Michael Buffer...)
Shredder.....quite likely the proven most successful prog of the last years -
could this bring back some more mature and respectful manner inside these mails
? I'd sure do hope so - but I really doubt it. What a pity and what a shame, my
good Shredder !
