I agree that Shredder's output is not EPD compatible.  About a year ago I wanted
to add some Shredder analysis to Bookup.  Bookup would generate the EPD
positions for the nodes and that file was then analyzed by Shredder.  In order
to get the results back into Bookup, I wrote an awk script to convert the
Shredder dump file into standard EPD format.  There were a couple of problems
with the way Shredder handled en passant (I believe) in the dump file but other
than that it was pretty straight forward.  I sent a copy of that awk script to
Dann Corbit and also offered it to Bob Pawlak.  I don't know if Dann used it or
not but if anyone is interested, I could send them a copy of the awk script
(mindfull it is just a utility script).  It works with standard unix awk and
also mawk for the PC.  If anyone wants a copy, please e-mail me and not post
here in the forum.
